Book Review - Her Last Wish by Ajay K. Pandey
Blurb:
His father's over expectations only ruined his self-confidence further with each failure. A ray of hope walked into his life as his wife, a charismatic personality spreading joy everywhere she went. Everything is going per plan, but darkness comes knocking soon. He finds out that she does not have much time to live and takes it upon himself to fight all odds - even his family, if need be - to help her fight her medical condition. His father sees his own redemption in helping them, he knows his son will be a winner only if he will fight for her, with her. Will a defeated son prove to be a good husband? Will the father-son duo together be able to change the course of fate? Her Last Wish is an inspiring story of love, relationship and sacrifice, which proves once again how a good wife makes the best husband.
Writing & Narration:
The writing style of the book is appropriate. The narration part is also up-to-the mark. The character justification and the way emotions have been described are amazing.
Title & Cover:
The title of the book is attractive and the cover is beautiful.
Storyline:
This story revolves around Vijay, who is in his thirties, who is assistant professor, and looking for a life partner. Vijay is extremely introvert, and is not confident about anything in life. He believes no good from life and accepts the same.
Until a very beautiful girl who agrees to marry him, and then he fights for her life.
The consequences in the book is about parents dreaming to fulfill their desires from their own son. Vijay's mother wanted him to be an engineer and his father wanted him to be an IAS officer. His parents never asked his wishes and will. He settled everything on what his dad desired for him and was helpless when he couldn't really get through it.
My verdict:
It is so obvious for any girl for not to marry any introvert guy, who is not bold and confident. But however, Vijay is very good person from heart. He gets hitched to a very beautiful girl, and they are so much in love blooming the happiness, until something really bad happens in the life of six months old marriage.
The battle is through life and this become Vijay's only purpose to win. This battle makes him confident.
