Book Review - Once In a Lifetime; Happens Again by Lovely Kumari and Ashish Kumar Mall

Blurb-
How far can a girl go to make a go like her?

Meet Ashwin. Know his deepest desires. Nothing more than being in love, and not being hurt in the process.
Know Anita, his best friend, his confidant.

What will happen when, not just one, but both of Ashwin’s consecutive crushes, think he is playing at being a puppet master?

Fate, as usual, works in funny ways.

About the story-
The story revolves around Ashwin and his love affairs. It depicts teenage love, how Ashwin has a crush on one girl and when things mess up between both of them, Ashwin decides to run away. In the process of running away, he falls for another girl, just to drift apart.

Writing and narration-
The writing style is simple and does not possess any uniqueness. The narration was easy going as well. However, there were a lot of grammatical and printing errors. The story seems off track at few places as well.

Title and cover-
While the title of the book does a bit justice with the story, the cover fails to create any charm.

My verdict-
The book has a sweet and simple teenage love to offer. Where the grammar ruins the flow of the book, on the other hand, the plot somewhere brings a smile on the face of the readers. Overall, this is a light and one time read.

Ratings – 3/5
