Are you a racist?

Lately, one of my friends suddenly questioned me - whether I was a racist or not? For a second, I was taken aback by this sudden interrogation, but instantly I denied to be one. When I asked her the reason behind this absurd question, the answer I got was that her friend is one. And we discussed for full half an hour about the hypocrisy prevailing in the world. That thing left me in deep thought. Today, when we are capable of putting our feet on mars, then why we place the utensils used by our garbage picker aside from our own? Today, when all we think about is making money and being successful, then why the cases of atrocious behaviour of so - called humanity preachers take place? Yesterday, I came across an article where a girl was badly trolled by twitterites, just because she had posted a picture of herself, in which she was flaunting her fat and was inviting only 'WHITE' men. I mean, what on the earth was she thinking? Looking beautiful, choosing a white person, running behind fair complexion, ogling at astounding face features - are only these things important in this era? When the science is developing every second, when the technology is seeking advancement every day, then why human beings are dragging themselves backward? We got the success in the freedom fight, we got the success in giving ladies their rights, we got the success in hearing people's plight, but when will we all get success from freeing our demons that are caged with the chains of hypocrisy in our minds? In this so called 21st century, people flaunt their forwarded step in technology by showing off a latest and an expensive mobile, but when it comes to offering food to a beggar, they choose to put that food in his hand not serving him in a plate. Very advanced, isnt' it? Ask any girl about his dream man and she will tell you about his knight in a shining armour, whereas ask a boy about his dream girl and he will rant about the qualities he desire in his wife. But both of them's desires would have one thing in common - Fair Looks! Ask about their favourite flavour of ice cream, more than half of the population will answer - chocolate. But how can they chose a dark thing for marriage? Dark things are only for eating not for spending life with. Be an average looking person but keep a golden heart, nobody will give a glance on you, but be an astounding and striking person with tons of attitude, people will follow and lurk behind you like anything. Racism and hypocrisy is not going to take us anywhere. People want to make their different stance but would follow others like gullible sheeps. If you really want to make your own stand, then preach something that is diminishing everyday and that is - Humanity! Be a real human and stop this nonsense of black and white and all the other differences. After all, there is a reason chocolate companies are experiencing tremendous success today.
