My verdict –
I don’t have words to describe my state of mind while reading this book. This book kept me hooked till the end. I finished this book in one go without evening budging from my place. Author has done a brilliant job. This is a kind of story, which remains in your head for a long time. Author has narrated the dark and horrible side of our country. Kudos for that!
No matter how much we preach for women empowerment, there are still some places where women are being treated as furniture but human. I would not be bragging if I say that this story is disturbing and has the power of shaking your soul.
Although, there are some drawbacks in editing and the way the story has been presented is not amazing as well. It could have been better. But then emotions overpower all these things. Thanks to the author for this book.
